Forrester Research examined the potential return on investment (ROI) enterprises may realize by adopting Dell’s server virtualization solutions with VMware's ESX server and virtualization platform.

This study highlights the benefits and costs of deploying Dell’s server virtualization solutions across the enterprise of a sample organization. The findings in this study are in large part based on in-depth interviews conducted by Forrester with five organizations currently using Dell’s server virtualization products. The study examines the estimated ROI for the sample organization and presents the aggregate findings derived from the interview and analysis process as well as our independent research.
